was established in Decem-
ber 1996. With a total land
area of 142,000 square
meters in Kunshan Jiangsu
Province, KONE Elevators Co., Ltd. is
the main elevator and escalator manu-
facturing base in the Asia-Pacific region
of KONE Corporation.

KONE has made great strides over
the decade, being one of the largest
suppliers of elevators and escalators
now in China. Currently KONE China
has over 3,700 employees from 38
branches nationwide aside from its sales
and maintenance network with up to
